HappyPaws (開心寶), a subsidiary of SUGA International Holdings Limited (“SUGA” or the “Group”) (stock code: 912), a leading electronics total solutions provider that also operates a smart pet products and pet food business, participated in Hong Kong Pet Show 2026. During the exhibition, HappyPaws (開心寶) focused on promoting its newly distribute pet health brand LitPet, alongside its proprietary pet food brand Brabanconne (爸媽寵), its pet health supplement brand Petzential, and the Taiwanese natural, nutritionally balanced pet food brand Doggy Willie (小犬威利), to pet lovers and citizens concerned about pet health.
LitPet is a newly-distributed pet health brand by HappyPaws (開心寶). LitPet skillfully blends traditional Eastern herbal remedies, natural ingredients, and wellness wisdom with modern scientific research and veterinary expertise to provide pets with comprehensive, long-lasting health support and preventive care. The brand won “Gold for Most Promising New Business Start-up” at the 2025 PetQuip Awards, while its supplement received “Silver for Best New Product (Healthcare & Grooming)”. By successfully distributing LitPet, HappyPaws (開心寶) will bring the combined wisdom of Chinese and Western medicine together with technology to the pet health market, advancing modern pet health and wellness solutions.
Prioritizing pet health, HappyPaws’ (開心寶) proprietary brand, Brabanconne (爸媽寵), creates professional nutritional formulas for cats and dogs with specific nutritional needs and at different growth stages. This brand’s formulas have been personally developed by Dr. Anita YOUNG, a veterinarian who graduated from the University of Cambridge, and whose core goal is to promote the overall health of pets. Dr. YOUNG personally attended the exhibition to provide pet owners with professional health consultations and practical advice, helping them better understand their pets’ health needs while demonstrating the brand’s confidence in both its product R&D and addressing pets’ requirements.
Petzential, another brand under HappyPaws (開心寶), showcased its premium line of health supplements made with natural extracts at the exhibition. Among them, PetzentialPlus employs an advanced 1+1 formula, combining NMN+Q10 anti-aging ingredients and Cs4-SeNPs technology, exclusively licensed from a Hong Kong university, with a focus on boosting pet immunity and fighting cancer. This is indicative of Petzential’s exploration of the latest pet nutrition technology and health solutions.
HappyPaws (開心寶) also showcased Doggy Willie (小犬威利), a Taiwan brand that offers natural, balanced, fresh pet food. All Doggy Willie (小犬威利) products are rigorously formulated by veterinarians and professional pet nutritionists, ensuring the highest safety standards, high-quality ingredients, and comprehensive nutrition. This approach embodies the brand philosophy of “eat better live longer”.
This year’s exhibition also featured special gifts. Customers who purchased HappyPaws (開心寶) products will receive complimentary Chinese New Year lai see envelopes, while those who spent over a specified amount will get cute instant pet photos taken on-site, capturing joyful moments with pets while welcoming the Chinese New Year together.
Mr. NG Man Chun, Anthony, Chief Executive Officer of WePet Group, said, “SUGA is committed to providing high-quality, healthy pet products and actively building a comprehensive pet health ecosystem. Hong Kong has great potential to develop the pet economy, and related consumer demand is therefore continuing to grow. As the pet market continues to evolve, we will keep abreast of the latest trends and deepen our understanding of pet owners’ pressing needs for nutrition and health care. Through this exhibition, we will introduce more innovative solutions to provide pets with better companionship and care.” In terms of fulfilling its corporate social responsibility, over the past year, HappyPaws (開心寶) donated pet food and supplies totaling HK$1.1 million to a local animal welfare association, House of Joy & Mercy, aiming to support stray animals through practical actions and improve their wellbeing.
