SUGA International Holdings Limited (“SUGA” or the “Group”) (stock code: 912), a leading electronics total solutions provider that also operates a smart pet products and pet food business, is participating in the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) again this year, showcasing three self-developed AI solutions spanning smart manufacturing, edge AI monitoring and business process automation. The exhibits demonstrate how the Group is progressively integrating AI technologies into practical applications across its existing electronics manufacturing, IoT and pet businesses, and attracted numerous on-site visitors.
Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) is being held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai between 13 and 16 October 2026. This year’s event has brought together more than 3,200 exhibitors from 15 countries and regions to showcase the latest trends in the electronics industry.
At the SUGA booth, the spotlight this year is on three self-developed AI technologies: the AI-powered Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Monitoring System, the in-house developed AI Computer Vision CCTV system, and the in-house developed Agentic AI system. The three solutions cover smart manufacturing, computer vision and enterprise-grade AI applications fields, respectively, fully demonstrating the Group’s active promotion of the real-world deployment of artificial intelligence technologies in recent years, as well as its ability to transform its innovative R&D achievements into commercially valuable solutions.
SUGA’s AI-powered SOP Monitoring System integrates advanced edge computing and artificial intelligence technologies into the assembly line. Using high-resolution cameras, computer vision and hand gesture recognition technologies, it tracks operators’ work steps in real time and detects proper tool usage, component placement and sequence execution, effectively reducing human error and improving product quality. The system is specifically tailored for high-mix, low-volume (HMLV) production and offers rapid adaptation, allowing operators to seamlessly switch between different product SKUs without the need for reconfiguration. Its modular architecture can also be flexibly deployed across various workstations, while the code-free visual interface enables shop floor supervisors to adjust workflows through simple settings, further enhancing smart manufacturing efficiency.
Another key exhibit is SUGA’s in-house developed AI computer vision CCTV system. Built on an edge architecture that eliminates reliance on cloud computing services, the system requires connection to only a single edge device to equip existing CCTV networks with real-time AI analytics capabilities. This enables a range of safety monitoring functions, including fire, smoke and personnel detection, while significantly reducing deployment and operating costs. Notably, the system incorporates proprietary pet AI technology developed by SUGA. Its dedicated model is trained using an extensive database built over many years in the pet industry, including hundreds of thousands of pet images. The technology enables pet identification, behavioral analysis, facial recognition, and the identification and classification of more than 50 common breeds. Alerts can also be configured for different management scenarios, highlighting the Group’s distinctive strengths in combining electronic technology with its pet ecosystem.
SUGA also showcased its proprietary Agentic AI system at the exhibition. The system goes beyond traditional AI tools by acting autonomously to plan and execute multi-step tasks, thereby helping businesses manage complex workflows and analyze vast amounts of information. It currently supports a range of applications, including the construction and management of corporate knowledge bases, Know Your Customer (KYC) platforms, automated compliance reviews, customer background due diligence and market research. By autonomously gathering, analyzing and integrating multi-dimensional data, Agentic AI helps businesses quickly uncover valuable business insights, improving operational efficiency and decision-making capabilities.
Dr. C H Ng, Chairman of SUGA, said, “The value of AI lies in its ability to address actual operational needs. The three solutions showcased at this year’s exhibition focus on production quality, on-site safety and enterprise workflows, respectively. Through the exhibition, we hope to gain direct insight into the needs of different markets and industries, continuously refine our solutions based on real-world feedback, and explore opportunities for future collaboration.”
This year’s Hong Kong Electronics Fair puts the spotlight on products and solutions in the fields of AI, robotics, smart living and next-generation entertainment – areas that align closely with SUGA’s product development priorities for the year. To date, SUGA has participated in the fair 20 times. This year, it is showcasing a range of proprietary AI technologies and innovative applications, demonstrating the Group’s technological expertise, diverse product portfolio and well-established manufacturing capabilities. The Group has also actively engaged with potential partners, laying a solid foundation for the further deployment of AI and expansion into new business areas. These efforts will support the Group in delivering more innovative, high-quality products and solutions to customers.
