SUGA International Holdings Limited (“SUGA” or the “Group”, stock code: 912) announced that it was awarded the “Corporate Citizenship Logo” in the Enterprise Category of the 6th Hong Kong Outstanding Corporate Citizenship Awards in recognition of its outstanding corporate social responsibility achievements.

Through the Hong Kong Outstanding Corporate Citizenship Awards and a series of activities, the“Hong Kong Corporate Citizenship Award Scheme”, organized annually by the Hong Kong Productivity Council and the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education since 2010, aims to encourage enterprises, SMEs, volunteer teams and social enterprises to promote and fulfill their corporate social responsibilities, which in turn facilitates sustainable economic, social and environmental development.

Winning this award represents huge encouragement for us. Giving back to the community is part of our corporate culture, and is a practice that we take pride in. Besides regular donations to the Education Foundation of the Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association and sponsorship of scholarships at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, we organized volunteers to participate in a number of social activities, including Green Council’s Hong Kong Green Day and International Coastal Cleanup 2015 Hong Kong; Agency for Volunteer Service’s AVS Walk & Run for Volunteering 2015; and Federation of Hong Kong Industries’ Blood Donation Day.
