SUGA Chairman Dr. C. H. Ng Appointed as New Chairman of HKEIA

SUGA International Holdings Limited (“SUGA”/ “the Group”) is pleased to announce that the Group’s Chairman Dr. C.H. Ng has been appointed as the new Chairman of The Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association (HKEIA).

Established in 1980, HKEIA is committed to serving Hong Kong's electronics industry and helping the industry to develop technologies and expand the business of its members. The objectives of HKEIA are to promote the development of the local electronics industry and identify opportunities for the industry, reflect the views of local electronics industry to the Legislative Council, government, domestic and overseas organisations, exchange industry information with its industry counterparts in different regions, as well as host and co-organise exhibitions, visits, seminars and other promotional activities related to the development of the electronics business and industry. It aims to enhance professionalism of its members, promote professional education, participate in charitable activities, fulfil social responsibility and provide the latest information and analysis of the industry.

Dr. C H Ng, Chairman of SUGA, said, “I am very proud to be elected as the new Chairman of The Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association. The new executive board will focus on broadening membership base, forging cooperation among members, organising activities related to the latest business opportunities and information, incubating startups and cultivating new talent for the industry.

The Association will also establish a ‘3D Printing Industry Council’ to facilitate innovation in the industry, initiate special projects and collect and analyze industry information. We will also expedite cooperation across different industries, explore and promote new markets and participate in exhibitions. Besides, we will strengthen cooperation between Mainland Chinese and Hong Kong education institutions and foster the young generation’s interest in the electronics industry with the aim to strengthen the industry.”
