Suga’s commitment to excellence extends to conducting business in a manner that respects the society and the environment. Our Corporate Social & Environmental Responsibility (CSER) practices positively contribute to the community and environment through donation, volunteerism and different environmentally-friendly measures. We recently took part in different activities including visiting elderly center, participation in orienteering competition for fund raising of teenagers education about the dangers of narcotics, “Walk for Sight 2011” for donations toward blindness prevention and treatment in China. Moreover, the participation in World Vision’s “Child Sponsorship Programme”and “Skip-A-Meal” campaign with an aim to enhance the staff’s understanding of the plight of those forsaken children.

On the environmental front, we have been participating in the Green Power Hike for ten consecutive years. We also took part in the “Cleaner Production Partnership Program”, which led to the adoption of energy conservation measures at our plants. To raise awareness and involvement in environmental protection among our staff and the families, we were involved in such worthwhile efforts as “International Coastal Cleanup 2010” and “Greening Hong Kong by PolyU alumni” in 2010 and 2011.

Besides, Suga strive for the excellence in our corporate governance and with systems in place to ensure internal control. We are committed to provide our employees with decent working environment and career growth training. The regular staff activities organized could help staff to balance work-life from their jobs.
